OK as promised, I said I was going to give you play by play on the spacer removal for my car.. well I got too involved in the project that I kinda forgot to snap pics along the way, but I did get a couple of good shots.
I'll start with the before pics (with an engine in the car mind you)
Here is how the car sits now remember.. I have no engine in the car so my friend decided to put a little bit of wieght on the front.. he's 180lbs and I know a 350 with cast heads weighs a LITTLE more then that.
is it me or does it look the same as it did with an engine in there?
last pic is the spacers..
I'd say they look to be about 1.5-2 inches tall.. so I think when I finally DO get an engine in the car, I'll be pretty damn low, which is what I am going for

Re: [Pics] finished suspension (Corz)
Lookin good Cor, Just remember not to go TOO low if you plan on driving in MASS. I swear they are installing potholes on a daily basis around here :banghead: :cuss :cuss :cuss
thanks... I dont plan on going through mass anytime soon.. Then again.. CT isnt that far off on the pot hole situation :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I think it's still on the high side, even with the engine removed and your buddy sitting on it. Are you certain you have the springs installed correctly? I hope it will be lower when you reinstall the engine & stuff, it's not much fun having to take the whole suspension apart again.
I think it looks high because of the angle of the picture.. I'll try to get a better one this afternoon with him and my roomate (275lbs) standing on the crossmember :jester
I think you'll be fine once you drop the engine in. It looks just like the old 77 did prior to the engine rebuild, well guess we will see. What's the spring rate??
