Door lock cylinder question??
hi guys, Does anyone know how to remove the tumbler from a door lock? I have an extra lock with a good outside stainless cap and one of the original locks has a dent in the stainless cap. I would like to change the tumbler from the bent one to the good one. If someone has the answer it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Craig :chevy

You didnt say what year, but if it is 69-82 you have to remove the stainless cap and install a new one. It is crimped on the edges and you will damage it while removing it.
