Default C3 event at the NCM?

I have been visiting another C3 website who is co-sponsoring a C3 "Extravaganza" at the National Corvette Museum October 14-17, 2004. Has anyone here ever attended something like this at the Museum? I am sort of interested in attending, but I don't think I will feel comfortable if there is only 20-30 people there, none of whom I would know prior to the event. Any input you might have would be greatly appreciated! :steering:

Redwing, this is the info I was looking for, Thanks! I'm surprised this info isn't a little more visible on this website. Now I have to make a decision on which event to attend, I'm afraid it might be a difficult one! :seeya

Thanks to the rest of you for your replys as well!

I'm a forum Cruise In veteran, I'll tell you its an absolute BLAST. course, I'm an OT regular (hence my outrageous post count) and a lot of the gang from Off Topic go to the Cruise In. Its basically a big party for vette lovers.

Show up on Wednesday night, activities on Thursday Friday and Saturday.
Thursday has Autocross and a wine trip.
Friday is Drag Racing
Saturday is the car show at the museum.

You can also tour the museum all weekend for free.. and also Tour the Assembly Plant :hurray:

oh yeah, we also get a huge BEER truck parked in front of one of the hotels.. Its a real good thing I didnt bring my car last year
