I'm thinking about doing this my self. How hard Is this? What kind of tools are needed to hold the panel In place? and so on. My car Is stripped to the fiberglass.

I replaced both rear quarter panels and the tail light panel on my 1969 convertible last year with minimal tools required.
Some tools you will need are a good Grinder, a number of different types of clamps, and numerous sanding blocks. Since you have it stripped to the bare fiberglass you should easily be able to see to bonding lines which makes things easier for you in regards to panel removal. My fiberglass ZR1 rear on my C3 from Eckler was a bolt-on and easily done with a good fit. Then I had the car re-painted, but I don't like the seam. If I were to do it again, I would glass the rear flush as 1-pce. Here is a pic
