Headlight Switches
Ok, I have a brand new headlight switch for a 78-82 that I bought new for my 79 about 6 years ago. What I am wanting to know is, is this switch different than the one for my 70. Anyone have any ideas. I know they list two different switches in all the catalogs but wonder if I could use it in the 70. If not anyone want to buy one that fits a 70 and trade?

If memory serves the switch is almost identical. The difference is where the brown wire for the running lights goes. For some reason it moved on the switch. You could use that later switch if you got a later plastic shell that positions the wires at the switch and moved the wires to it. No cutting required.
