Trivia: Spring rates 82 FE7
It has the part numbers as follows from AIM:
Front
STD & FE7 appear to have same part #14034206
Rear
STD composite #9767199
FE7 steel 9 leaf 2.5 inch #14021604

Im looking for a new rear spring and will probably cut front springs.
TRW style offers 340 min = too much for ride height issue.
VBP offers 300 330 360 420
9 leaf steel appears to be 260
Anyone know the rates for the front and rear springs on 82 FE7?

Im asking this as some sources say 260 lb (fastcorvette.com) for the 9 leaf 2.5 inch and other sources (VBP) say 190.
I want to get the FE7 rated steel spring. Any help is appreciated.

I've done quite a bit of research on FE7 and corresponded with an NCRS guy who was interested in heavy duty springs for C3. The results will be in an NCRS publication
