Gear Ratios
Does anyone know where I can find out what my ratios are for my close ratio transmittion and ratios for my rear gear are for my 1971 Corvette? It had 270hp 350ci.
Also what does this thing weigh?
I just bought a 450hp 383 and the engine builder wants to know.

Muncie M21 close ratio (1971 and later) 2.2 1.64 1.28 1
You'll have to count turns on the driveshaft vs. turns on the tire to determine what rear gear you have.
