Typically a shop has a minimum charge of about $60 due to the labor to change colors in the gun. If you had enough to meet the minimum then they would probably cost $5 to $10 each to coat. So get all your brackets and pulleys and have them all done.
BTW, cool valve covers. I've always liked that style.
paul67 I will do them in black for free. My son runs the powder coat department at work and I can have anything/any size done for free but black is what the production line sprays.
I live in Waterloo Ontario.
Maybe this is why your favorite under body color is black???
Powdercoating is usually cheap if you stick to widely used colors like black, if you want something special or a super snazzy show piece you'll pay for it

No maybe about it Twin Turbo. To change colors they have to clean the gun and it slows production down. Funny when my son does something for himself it is often done in blue???
Anyway he was getting my 4 A arms sandblasted last night. They went to a factory that has a converor belt going through a sand blaster, it continually goes around and around and they just leave the parts on until they are totally cleaned then my son will pick them up and powder coat them BLACK.
This is what they looked like before powder coating.

HAHAHA Nothing wrong with black, my stuff is mostly black too because I get black powder for free and the powdercoating shop I go to for larger parts give me really good prices as long as it's glossy black (what about $10 for all the larger suspension components I let them do for a car I redid the complete suspension on???)
powdercoating is not always the way to go, when the surface sees any kind of forces on it (bolt torqued down, some kind of washer, plate, bracket...) the powdercoat will chip, in that case 2 component paint is a better choice, it's very durable too but won't chip.
That is the fine work of the former owner (EdT). Here is a pic after I got caught in a rainstorm last summer. Can't keep things clean forever. But I did have the underneath power washed before the car went into storage in early November.
I just had my L82 Black covers, fan & aluminum intake powdercoated. Very happy. Paint will Not hold up to gas spills. The covers cost $60 and I had to use my Dremel to sand the top of the fins. I sandblasted & painted the brackets myself.

He's right about paint...won't even hold up to carb spray!
