Default OT?:Need tunes for my Vette

Maybe a little off topic, but I was reading a thread here at the Forum the other day where someone mentioned about getting an MP3 Juke Box player. I took their advise and install one over the Holidays in my 79. It's really kick azz.

The question I have is where is the best LEGAL internet site to purchase MP3 music? I'd like to hear from ya'll who have used the sites and know for sure that everything is legit. I've looked at the new Napster site but they're not supporting Win 95 or Win 98.

Thanks in advance and

If you want to use Napster, just upgrade to win xp. My wife like xp, I like win98. Also check out itunes, it's like Napster, supports win98, is legal. Cost the same as Napster, 0.99 per download. Only has about half of the music files as Napster. Napster is the largest legal pay for music site. I know alot of people are still using the other non pay site.

MNJack: I got one of those remote changers that can be installed almost anywhere. It's remotely located to your radio and could be put in your trunk if you wanted to (I know Vettes don't have trunks). Anyways, hookup is really simple since all of the electrical is at your radio and just one cable runs back to the changer. I got the type that uses FM modulation so all you have to do is to jack your antenna cable into a little box and plug a cable out of the little box back into your radio. Then all you have to do is to tune your radio to a particular station. The little box also has one wire for +12v switched, one wire for -12v, one wire for +12v constant (for memory) and one wire that goes to a little remote control for changing tunes.

The remote change I got will hold 10 CD's and is MP3 compatible. Looking at the documentation says I might be able to get about 1000+ mp3 tunes loaded.

I have been preparing what I wanna play when my new stereo gets installed, I ofcourse being a Madonna fanatic will have that, but on my list is Earth Wind and Fire, Rick James and lots of stuff like that. Step into my 76 and then listen to the music that takes you back into time!!! :D    :lolg:
