Default rear sway bar question 81

ok, my vette didnt come stock with a reay sway bar, so im gonna buy the kit. i see the holes in the rear of the trailing arms for the link mounts, my question is where is the holes for the sway bar bushing brakets? i dont see them, do i have to make my own? someone who has put n a sway bar please let me know, thanks

The way I understand it, if your car did not come equipped from the factory with a rear sway bar, you will have to drill out the bracket mounting holes in the frame to fit these brackets.

I would lose fit the sway bar end links and then trial fit the bar with brakets to frame to determine your proper mounting spot.

Your kit may come with instruction for this also I would assume-maybe :hat

I recently put a rear sway bar kit on my 73 convertible. The holes were drilled and tapped already. I was told that all frames were set up for sway bars but only the big blocks were factory installed with them. This may not apply to later models, of course.
