Evil electrical system issue
Hey all, my 69 coupe has started with a new electrical gremlin. Four months ago I save I had no brake/turn indicators on the rear of the car. Looked and found a burned fuse. Changed it and everything was fine until this past weekend when it popped the fuse again. Changed it hit the brakes and it burned it again. So any good ideas where to start hunting for this one? Also any ideas on a simpler way of testing instead of a fist full of glass fuses ?

try wireing a blinker switch in place of the fuse, the blinker switch will switch on and off therby lowering the effective current going through the wire so you won't burn anything out. This will allow you to trace the wire, looking for the short, with out burning something up.
