Shift ****
I would like to change the standard round shift **** on my 82'
automatic and replace it with something like a horizontal grip or something a little fancier, any ideas?

All 82s were automatic.....I'm assuming stock of course. I used an aftermarket C5 shift ****. Drilled and tapped the hole to screw onto the stalk. I'll post a pic soon.

I bought both a cue ball shifter and 8 ball shifter **** from Flameball. They have a lot of cool styles to pick from, including some that light up. You can see the 8 ball shifter **** in my '70 by looking at the interior picture of my Vette on my website:
