You might want to do a search on the astro tops. It seems that are not a lot of people "in between" regarding these tops; people either love them or they hate them.
I have the smoked 1 piece top for my 74 that my wife bought for me as a gift. The fit on mine is great and I absolutely love it. It feels like I am driving an entirely different car now as opposed to having the solid tops on, since their is full visability with the smoked top. If you decide to get one, be sure to get the cover as the top is acrylic and not glass and can scratch easier. The manufacturer suggests putting on a few good coats of wax to help avoid scratching the surface. I followed the directions and so far it still looks like new. From reading some of the other posts, it appears that others were not happy with the fit, but again, the top I recieved fits like a glove. I believe that a few revisions have been made by the manufacturers over the years, which might explain the variance in opinions depending on when others purchased their tops.
Well, that is my two cents. I am sure others will chime in.

The 2 piece are just the same as factory t-tops with acrylic instead of glass. They are much, much lighter, impact resistant and easier to deal with. They also retain the stock mounting methods and works with the alarm in the 1978-82 cars.
