Re: YES it's another side pipe thread! (NOTHIN'LIKE'A'69')
To complement what OHSIXX was saying, are you a set of hookers or 69 style pipes?
My advice would be to install them along the sides of the car, and make sure they run to the engine. They might burn the fenders and the roof pillars if they are installed upside down.

There is never a shortage of comedians around here. :jester :lolg:
With the factory style side pipes the only mounting hardware for the pipes themselves is a carrage style bolt that goes in the keyhole slot in the frame just in front of the rear tires. The head of the bolt will slip in the slot, then a rubber bushing, the pipe, another bushing, a washer and the nut. thge front hooks to the exhaust manifold the same as any original pipe. Just the 3 nuts on the exhaust studs.
The covers mount in different manners as to weather you have the original chrome covers or the fiberglass aftermarket covers. Either one will mount in the holes that the rocker covers are mounted with but the fiberglass covers come undrilled so you have to drill holes in them to match the mounting holes on the car.

Well now that we know that he has questions installing the factory style side exhaust covers (or whatever they are called). Why doesn't someone go ahead and post some pics for the guy.
By the way, I could use some pics of a Factory Style Side Exhaust Covers, cause I just ordered a complete set of the factory covers from Paragon.

As mentioned earlier you just have the carriage bolt "hanger" on the end of the side pipes (the hanger kit comes with 2 bolts, 2 spaces, 4 rubber mounts, 2 washers and 2 nuts)
Both the fiberglass and original style covers mount to the screws along the rocker panels, you also have a strengthing bar at the exhaust tip (mounts by 2 screws to the cover and a self tapping screw into the chassis rail) and (on the factory style covers) there is a contoured hanger that mounts into the underside of the cover, goes over the sidepipe and again mounts to the chassis rail.
The AIM gives some pretty clear diagrams of mounting points.
When you are installing them its good to have another pair of hands as you loosely fasten th ehanger on the end, then the three bolts on the exhaust manifold. Check for clearance at the front of the chasis and tighten gradually.
Dont forget the passnger sidepipe is shorter than the drivers side at the exhaust manifold flange, allowing for the heat riser.
My advice would be to install them along the sides of the car, and make sure they run to the engine. They might burn the fenders and the roof pillars if they are installed upside down.
