Rear Trailing Arm Group Purchase
I also agree about the quality of parts these days. I have to modify many parts I get to fit correctly. Most recently, I returned 3 Distributors cross gears for faulty machining. As for the arms, the ones I used were great, However even with these I had to return one because of a poor bushing sleeve flare.
I know you see all the mistakes on a daily basis, I can only imagine someo f the work that's sent your way. One of the last cars I rebuilt the rear bearings on someone used a torch to cut up the spindle flange( 1x2" cutout) then attached the parking brake shoes with sheet metal screws!
Lastly, I certainly appreciate your input to this forum. Both from a personal and professional experience I know it is helpful to many here, myself included.
Hey, if you ever need another guy to rebuild things let me know, the Winter in CT is getting old!!!!!!!
Take care,
Gary
My apologies,it was not my intent to hyjack this thread. I only was offering the option of the possible helping with the purchase of the arms. I will not post to this thread anymore.
