"502" Hood Emblems for BB hood???
I am getting close to putting the final touches to my 502 RamJet project and am considering putting "502" emblem numbers on my recently modified L-88 hood. Does anyone know if somthing like that is available aftermarket? Come to think of it, all that is really needed is the "0" I could use the 5 and 2 from the 454 & 427. :skep:

Not sure if they're the same size/type font, but you could try hacking apart a couple of "302" or "350" emblems from a Camaro or something to get the "0". Might be possible to solder a post on the back to use the factory style sheet metal nuts to hold it on. I have considered this in the past but haven't tried it as yet. Could get a little pricey depending upon what you pay for the donor emblems. It would be unique though!

Do any of you know where I could find or better said have custom made one of those decals that go on the air filter cover but instead of 427 to say 502. I have gone to the local print shops around town and they tell me that they can only do it in two colors maximum and I believe it has 3 or more. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Enrique, I have one of the stickers you are looking for. 5 bucks and it is yours. I bought 2 from Sallee Chrevrolet. They look just like the 427 ones but have 502. E-mail me if you want it. Bill.

Thanks for all your help, everyone :grouphug: I just got off the phone with Trimparts.com and they are sending me a set of "502" emblems that are supposed to be an exact knock-off of the stock numbers except that they have an adhesive bond mount. I think I perfere that anyway! Stay tuned, I plan to post a few pics of the project along with all the lessons learned. It isn't exactly a simple drop in crate motor replacement exercise like they would have you believe :cheers:

I know this is probably a day late and a dollar short, but i know several people that have considered getting 502 and i read somewhere that you can get the emblem off of a straight six 250 and switch teh letters around to say 502 since they are individual. Im sure that Year one, Clasic industries and many others have the 250 emblem. i hope that this can help someone somewhere.
