Need advice
I got my calipers off and the bleeders out. Thay have been replaced by the previous owner, There sleved  .
I have a caliper rebuild kit, has any one here done this befor?
I did all four on my 76 last summer. Not a tough project, but it takes time. Drain the calipers and then split them in half. Pull the outer seals out GENTLY with a small screwdriver so that nothing is scratched, then the piston with the inner seal. The spring may come flying out so watch your eyes. Clean the bore out with a medium grit Scotchbrite pad, don't use sandpaper. All you want to do is clean it, not re-surface it. Check the bores for scoring because this will cause leaks. When you put it back together, make sure you lube all the parts with brake fluid before installation. Put the inner seal on the piston, then put the outer seal on it. Put the spring behind the piston and press into the bore by hand, so that it just starts to seat in the bore. You will have to GENTLY tap the outer seal in place with a hammer and a piece of wood while compressing the piston. Be careful on this part, I screwed up a seal kit by wailing on it. Don't forget to replace the small o-ring that allows fluid to go to both sides of the caliper (lube that also). When go put the caliper halves back together, make sure the small holes line up well before tightening. The process is easier if you have a vise, if not, go get one.
If the bleeders are the only thing that broke off inside of the caliper, I would suggest trying to get a tool called a (an easy out) and try backing out the piece that is still left in caliper before I wouldreplace the calipers. Just a suggestion. :) I beleive they have two bleeders because they may have two pistons 1 bleeder for each one?
