Snow doesn't make the car rot, salt does. Snow is just frozen water. If I saw a Vette like that, I would think "well, at least he's not driving it in the winter."
A little snow on the roof doesn't hurt a Vette. In the spring it just melts and rolls off.
:iagree: I would be much more critical, if there were sets of tire marks
in and out of it's spot. At least it's off the road.
If you make a point to spray off the underside whenever it gets salted, that won't hurt it either. Like the man said, it's just water, although I know some of your poor deprived Vettes have never seen a drop of rain.
It is wrong. I got a guy three blocks from me with a pretty laguna blue with a white hard top sitting in the driveway, snow, torrential rains, sun and wind hammering away at the car. What's he do? leaves it sit in the driveway. Not even a cover of anykind. . . . sickening. Rags and towels on the dash, so you know he's got A pillar or top leaks, No tarp. I don't why these guys buy a vintage vette just to let it dies a slow painful death.
