Default 68 Wiper Door Vacuum

Can anyone give me a brief worded description of how the vacuum lines incorporate into the wiper door system. Where does the system draw its pressure from... All I'm seeing is one line that splits and goes to each side of the windshield through a rubber access port in the bcak of the engine compartment. The line originates at a black box with some electrical wires coming off of it, but there is no input to it, so I'm not getting anything. Any help is appreciated.

Hi

The wiper door is actuated by the door actuator, mounted on the pax side in the engine compartment. This unit is solely responsible to open/close the door. No vacuum line is going underneath the wiper door.
Some vacuum lines are routed through a grommet to the underdash area.
The lines you mentioned are for the windshield washer system, I think.
Check some of the big vendors catalogues, like ZIP etc, they have some shematics of the wiper system.

Good luck. Gunther
