Need help estimating value on 1980 L-48....
I have a friend up in St. Paul, MN who wants to sell her Vette and asked me what it was worth. It is a 1980 L-48 auto with 27,750 actual miles. Red exterior (original paint) and red leather interior. Original radio, a/c, cruise and glass tops. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!!!

What condition is the car in? Just cause it is low mileage doesn't mean good condition.
However, my guesstimation is that in primo condition, $12-14k.

I was at the Mechum Winter Auction several weeks ago and 1980 L48's with high mileage, condition code 3, were selling for about $7,000, there was a low mileage condition code 2 1980 that went for $11,000. Hope this is of some help.
