Default Transmission lubricant?
Thinking of changing the transmission lubricant in my '78 / 4 speed to a synthetic. I did this a while back to the transmission of my Harley Softail Springer and could tell a noticeable improvement in the smoothness of the shift. Any suggestions?

I use Amsoil in all my vehicles :thumbs:

I don't know about the 4 speed but in the 5 speed synthetic can make the transmission a little noiser. More gear whine.
