Yeah, I know they're supposed to be driven, but to see one of these super original "as the factory built it" cars are really neat to see in person. One of my favorite parts of the hobby-very original UNRESTORED cars. :yesnod:

LOL I almost posted this auction last night but I kind of want to buy it I emailed the seller and asked a few questions Hesaid it was original and his friend was a nut! I truthfully would love to have this car and am going to try and work a deal with the seller WISH ME LUCK

Belongs in the Corvette Museum if you ask me. Dont change a thing, except a little wax on wax off and into the museum she should go. It would be interesting to see how the motor and tranny internals look.
To make roadworthy, I would suspect:
1)Changing all rubber items, tires, bushings, and weatherstriping.
2)Rebuilding engine(top end has probably lost its oil protection many moons ago).
3)Rebuilding carb-fuel system.
4)Rebuilding tranny.
5)Rebuilding ignition system-oxidation of contacts.

Unless they can back up that 489 mile claim, I would add exactly 100,000 miles to it. BTW, you know the GM designers got it right when it looks good dirty
