just came across this on Chevyhighpreformance.com:
Looks pretty nice but is not the Chevelle SS I remember. :(

That's a digitally altered picture of the GTO. CHP 'took liberties' in external modifications in the latest issue.

That's curious they said they drove it (it being the Chevelle SS) not the GTO.

It might be that they drove the Chevelle prototype but were not allowed to photograph it.

Somewhere in the magazine I remember them saying it was a photohack. Maybe it was in the editorial at the front.
