My vette makes a clunking sound when you put it either drive or reverse like a mount is bad some where in the rear end. I was told it was a mount on the rear end its moving up and down. When I tried to find the name of the part I was told thats the snubber bushing there is on on top and one on the bottem. Untill I can get at my car to look I have to hope thats right but what is the right name for this mount. Boy you get funny looks asking for a snubber bushing at the auto parts store..... :banghead:
This the link I took off of ZIPs webpage. Huge link for such a little part. Anyway, they call it 63-82 PINION SNUBBER CUSHIONS-POLYURETHANE Hope this helps.
Thanks for your help! With the right name I was able to get it from a local auto zone the part is from Energy Suspension for $9. I would rather buy local for these small parts keeps the ups man from stopping to much and keeps the questions about how much I'm spending on the vette down.
