OT:Thinking about a new project....ideas?
I'm thinking about a new project, plans are for a 67-71 SWB C-10(GMC).
This will be a long term project.
Not being to familiar with C-10's, which of these year's would be best suited?.....too, big block,4 link....style? :)
Truck will more than likely be completely barstardised so small odd's and bod's won't matter to much
PS:I've just re-read my own message and i still can't understand it, can you?

I also want a C-10. I like the ones with the rear 'visor' not sure when that went away but the late 60's had em.
I just want a short bed, shaved and dropped to the weeds. :cheers:

Are you down under? Or where?
There are a bunch o web sites about chevy trucks. Do a google on c-10 or even F-150.
I don't have any links here they are all at home...I'll post them if no one beats me to it.
Oh BTW, my next project is either a C-10 or a cabin cruiser...

That body style ran through 72. I've had 3 of those trucks in the past and I love those things. I found the 72's to be the best, mainly because they have disc brakes on the front. The early years had drum brakes all around and don't stop great.
