Sounds waaaaay to good to be true. It may be legit, but I think bidding will actually go much higher. Some of the things in the description sound fishy because they don't match up to that car. I'd be very careful with this one :skep:

This car even has a bed liner, a bug shield, a 4 cylinder zz502 engine, automatic seat belts. Oh, and child proof door locks. Wooo Hooo, sounds like a great car. :lolg:

Considering that it says "please email me before bidding. i accept a only (sic)3000 usd deposit !", I'd say that a price tag of $1,136 is a little fishy.

 

"REMAINING FACTORY WARRANTY" wow GM really stands behind thier products that's 37 years and there is still some warranty left :lolg:

Most of those "pre-approved bidders" auctions are scams to get credit card numbers/social security numbers etc.. from the potential buyers...

 

Ebay needs to get this under control before one of those news programs gets wind of it. As funny as it is to us, so poor guy is getting scammed.

Generally EBay is pretty legit. But four cylinders, maroon interior, VIN is ?? certainly not 1967. What really amazes me is that there are bids?

That is what is scary about those three bids. They must be some form of EBay Police to shut this kind of auction down before people's personal identities are captured and plundered! That is becoming a major internet issue these days.

One way to get it under control is that the pre-approval for "Pre-approved-bidder" auctions should have to go through Ebay for bidder approval. There should be no way that the seller has to approve bidders himself..
