Sounds waaaaay to good to be true. It may be legit, but I think bidding will actually go much higher. Some of the things in the description sound fishy because they don't match up to that car. I'd be very careful with this one :skep:
This car even has a bed liner, a bug shield, a 4 cylinder zz502 engine, automatic seat belts. Oh, and child proof door locks. Wooo Hooo, sounds like a great car. :lolg:
Considering that it says "please email me before bidding. i accept a only (sic)3000 usd deposit !", I'd say that a price tag of $1,136 is a little fishy.
Well, you think the Corvette is interesting, then click on "other auctions" to find that he has a car formerly owned by the fallen dictator of Romania, given as a present by Nixon. Oh yeah, the guy's selling a chopper, too.
GrandSport,
That is what is scary about those three bids. They must be some form of EBay Police to shut this kind of auction down before people's personal identities are captured and plundered! That is becoming a major internet issue these days. http://www.computercops.biz/article2690.html

One way to get it under control is that the pre-approval for "Pre-approved-bidder" auctions should have to go through Ebay for bidder approval. There should be no way that the seller has to approve bidders himself..
I also like this one.
This great car was owned by the ex-romanian president Nicolae Ceausescu, as a gift from Richard Nixon. My wife ís Romanian and she bought this car five years ago from there. Now we are decided to sell it.
I am on my way to the Western Union office.
