anybody have/had this problem? i didnt notice it when it happened but all the interior lights of my car went out! all my gauge lights are gone and its impossible to see anything at night inside the car, since its all the lights i think its safe to say it was one connection somewhere? any body got any suggestions? thanks in advance! - Bob
edit: its a 69 convertible
What would be your guess if interior lights are out, (except for the red headlamps light and radio background) but the tail lights still are good? Thank you.
I just had this exact problem and tore the whole car apart trying to fix it. Finally, I changed the headlamp switch (about a $60 part from Ecklers) and it solved the problem. From what I now understand, this is a pretty common solution to this type of problem. You might also try checking the ground. On my 79, it's a wire right above the driver's kick panel near the top door hinge screwed into the body. Hope this helps. Good luck!

:iagree: That's what it was on my car, and I've diagnosed three other cars since then with the same problem.
