Default Old radiators: Recycle or Dump?

Got my new Dewitts radiator installed and have the leaky one that was in there as an extra. There isn't anyway I would ever go back to it and was wondering if it was worth anything? Do radiator shops take them or do I just toss it in the rubbish can.

Any advice would be appreciated.... Anybody in HI need a 69 BB radiator with a leak?

For people who want to keep the stock setup, keep the side tanks if they are in good shape. My experience is that it is cheaper to get them re-cored, than to by a new one.

You could try to sell it on Ebay if it was desirable, but shipping would be high. Here it is worth about $5 at the recycler.

The end tanks will be numbered and that is important to some people. It can be re-cored and will of real value to some 1969 owner. It would a shame to throw them away. As to cost of shipping you can de-core the unit and just ship the tanks.

Is there a specific area to look for numbers? I didn't see any, the only letters/numbers I could find was a tag that said "MJ9" and the word Harrison on one of the endtanks.
