Clutch pedal neutral safety switch....
Can I run the solenoid wire through the switch(open / closed). The wires going through the auto shifters neutral safety switch was 10 - 12 gauge wire. Are the standards the same way?

The wires in and out of the clutch switch are 12 gage purple. I have a 1971 Chevrolet Service Manual. The circuit doesn't make sense to me since the clutch switch seems to be in a loop. I will need to scan three pages for you today. I just don't have time this morning.

Have mine jumped for a while now, so I can start the car without having to get in and push the clutch, just make you remember that at all times, I forgot to check to make sure it was out of gear ONCE! :(
