'81 Interior part help

I'm looking for the cream colored plastic light cover that is on the "T" bar between the "T" tops ...

I got into my '81 with my helmet on & smashed the plastic cover (very brittle with age, like me) ...

Do any of you know of any parts places that might carry this item???

I actually picked one up from the parts counter at the local Chevy dealer a couple of years ago...cheapest thing I ever bought from a dealer...about $2.00 I think.

I got one for my 81 at Auto Zone. Look in the HELP rack for GM light covers. Looks the same as the original.

You were right - I took your advice & called the GM dealer ... sure enough it was $1.79 & he had it in stock .. it's now on my wife's vette ...
