We finally got the body off!
Well we got our dolly fabbed, and finally got the body off! No rot!
We made the dolly to the frame mounts you can get to, then welded the last two in when the car was on it. Everything worked well. The only damage was to the back of the door. Very slightly touched the rear quarter until we jacked it up to put in the last two supports. Just an 1/8 by 1/2 inch chip. It is going to get painted anyway.
Thanks for everyone’s help in my other post on the best way to lift it off. All the info helped a lot!

That's really cool. Nice body dolly, indeed. It's good to hear that the frame is in good shape. The pictures are great keep the comming.

Oh hell, you could have used the lift to raise the body off the frame....just position the arms under the channels, raise the lift, roll out the frame.

stingraymaniac, No I am putting on a 18 wheels, 295 or 315 fronts and 345 rears.
Guru_4_hire, I dont know what the wheels are. I attached a photo of the center. They are 16 x 10 fronts, and 16x12 rears. The tires are Goodyear slicks 25.5 x12-16 in front and 27x13-16 rear.
THawkbh, Guilford is off I-95 an the sound, 20 minutes east of New Haven.
GDaina, in hindsite, that would have been a good idea. I think we may put it back on that way. I don't think the straps will cut it on new paint.
