Engine ident(HELP)

Hi all,

Im trying to figure out what engine I got in my car.

Block casting= GM 40 3970010

number in front of head (passenger side) was very hard to read but I think it was= ???213CHC and 15S22398?.
The engine is not the original and I dont know what car it came out of?
I would really like to know if this engine is worth building on or I should get a new crate engine? :confused:

1975 CHC 350 m/t, h/p T L82 205 4 Vette
1976 CHC 350 m/t, h/p X L82 210 4 Vette
1980 CHC 350 auto trans. L - - full size
heres what i come up with.

Also, from what I've been told......most "0010" blocks were 4-bolt mains or hi-perf. blocks with a higher nickel content. ;)

Im gonna check for the casting date on the block tomorrow, if its cast in 1975 it must be an L82 4 bolt, which I hope.
