HI twin turbo. My rack in pinion is a mustang 2rack which I made way before the steeroids units. Looks to be similar from what I have seen. The coil overs are alden with vette modified upper and lower control arms. dropped 30lbs of unsprung weight.Very responsive to the road.
  It's a little scary there is someone out there that thinks like me. I've never seen your Vette before, yet I picture your Vette everytime I picture my Vette Pro-Street. Exactly like that. "LOTA" my buddys have Pro-Street Vettes, some mid-years and a couple of C3s. But I have always pictured a C3, black, blown, chrome rear bumper. And it seems like you have ALL the the goodies to go with it. Can't give you enough
The steeroids is rear steer and that's why I do not want it.
What kind of arms are you using? Vette brakes? I've been trying to get just the lower 2 control amrs from them (or other sources) to mod them to accept coil overs. Thus far to no avail. Can you snap a pic of your setup? I am really interested in it since it's about exactly what I'm aiming at (coil overs front & reer w/ front steer end take off rack) How wide is your stang II rack? If I recall the assisted ones are in the 21" wide range and the non assisted ones are shorter. To get 0 bump steer the rack would have to be 16-17" wide and the only ones I've found that fit that bill are woodward and appleton race racks but they only have 3,5" stroke to each side.
Looking through your awesome pics, while mopping all the drool off my keyboard I noticed your headlights:
that is TOTALLY SWEET!!!!! Dang these posts, now I'm thinking I want to do away with the stock headlamps too. I already glassed the entire front clip together and with my engine vacuum will be a problem so I might as well do away with them...I like it... a lot. Hmmmm :)
Seriously, I become speechless every time entering your webpage. I have never seen a car with that much show and go!
The most beautiful car in all categories...
There are lots of talented people here on the forum with awesome cars but I think you took the first place if there's anything like that!
Man, I would pay big $$$ just to ride in that thing!

Thanks for all the comps, and those who have put up pics, I still dont know how.
Go to your website, rightclick the picture you want to view and choose proporties. There you see the adress to the picture. The adress to this picture for example:
is http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/hot.../vette_003.jpg
Then, in your post, paste the adress between the tags [IMG][/IMG] So the result should look like [IMG.]http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/hotrod12/vettepics/vette_003.jpg[/IMG.] without the two dots.
I Showed your car to my dad, he started whining about the problem with having a motor in the way of your sight... :banghead: :banghead:
I think I could live with having a motor in my view if I had a car like that. In fact, having the motor there, right in the way would be the whole deal :yesnod:
Love your car, now we want to see pics of it with the hood up
:iagree: That is the BEST view, nothing better than seeing a 4 link suspension done, tubbed, and big a$%^ tires, ...can I get up from the floor now.. :lolg: :lolg: great vette and HEY! it's a 73 !!! wish they made coil over shocks for the rear of our C3's without the mods (QA1's will do). Now you have to ask yourself....Do you really need a car like that????
