Re: Finally a decent digital camera & pic (litevette)
The blue box is called a site safe box (like on construction sites) it's thick steel and lockable. The locks sit up inside so you can't hack saw them off. I put casters on it and keep parts & stuff inside. It might be called a gang box too. I don't know. :)
Yep, we call them gang box's. I have a heating coil on the lid of mine to keep my butt warm in the winter. :) Just plug the sucker in!
Re: Finally a decent digital camera & pic (88'Cubka)
I would have never guessed about the glare thing but it makes perfect sense. I bet a lot of people wish they could go back in time and have some of their old cars back. (I miss my 69' camaro vert and my 68' fierebird)
Funny about the heating coil in the gang box. Good idea. :yesnod:

Cool car. You are going for a look with a different color hood. Ha, I love it. Very cool. I had the different look because I had to have another hood. The black hood would have been a perfect find for mine.
Re: Finally a decent digital camera & pic (groovyjay)
Litevette, can we now have the real side shot picture because the side picture in your sig is photoshoped in "Wheels" . Lets see the real wheels now...! Your going to slam it down with huge *** rims and a "hinge" system..you aint going to rice it are you?
Re: Finally a decent digital camera & pic (groovyjay)
Sorry but the side shot shows too much wheel well because I haven't put the suspension kit on yet. Also, there's a lot out of the car so it's sitting higher than it will. The rims are only 17's , but I'm going to sell them and move up to 18's or 19's so I can acheive the look I've shown here. (Anyone want to buy 4 brand new 17x8's with brand new tires? $1500)
I think "ricer" wouldn't be the proper term rather "G-Machine" meets the 60's 1320 car. :steering:
