Thanks Big632- my drivtarin so far is a Tremec TKO 5spd with 3.90 rear gears. I upgraded my posi to one of Tom's Differentials & installed his 30 spline inner axles. :cheers:

Thanks Matchframe :) If your seriously considering adding a set of AFR's, you might want to get your order in now. Last I knew they had about an 8 week lead time. They were expanding their business at thge beginning of this year to try and cut that down, but I don't know what progress they've made on it ;)

71Coupe this engine is destroked to a 388. The bore is 4.125 and the stroke is 3.625. I had to have custom pistons made for this combo (JE forged flattops), but they weren't much more than if they were off the shelf for comparable pistons. The cam is a Comp Cams mechanical roller. The lobe separation angle is 112 degrees. The lift is intake .616"/ exhaust .622" with the 1.6 rocker arm ratio. Duration @ .050 is Int. 248 & Exh. 254 . The cam timing events @ .050 are 16 52 63 11.
