With all the nonsense with Portugal Pedro lately I thought I would report a pleasant EBay experience. I listed my rear FE7 7/16" sway bar recently and it did not go on initial auction. That's fine: sometimes you sell and sometimes not. (That was after an offering here on the Forum that did not capture any bites.) After the auction I received an e-mail from a fellow asking me what my reserve price was. I informed him and he agreed to that after an exchange of amicable e-mails. Without going into the details of the shipping arrangements, that rear sway bar was sent off today from Canada to Hawaii by air. He will have the bar on Tuesday and I will have the postal money order next week. Sometimes Ebay works.
As both a buyer and a seller, eBay can work. I have nothing but positive experiences fortunately.
It is like anything else...a few bad apples ruin it for the bunch.
If you have followed the antics of Portugal Pedro and Germany George, it was a real treat to find a real EBay person to communicate with. The former love to sell those C2s on a private auction basis. But the EBay Police are doing their job, thank goodness.
