even tho it's pretty sad to see those cars the blue one makes a good statement. Look at where the frame snapped... YUP right across the access hole for the power steering ram bracket mounts. So, there's your reason why you want to plate up that section. I've seen quite a few broken frames and 90% of them snapped there. That is the weakest spot in the entire front frame section.

I was thinking the same thing. From what I can tell, those 34 thru 52 corvettes are REALLY REALLY rare!

Not to spoil the fun and I can see how it can be taken the wrong way......BUT what that dude means is that it's now 35-years old - hence the 35th anniv. of the "car"- not Corvette. ;)
Mine's 36 this year !

Re: Basement bargains ! ! ! (AGVI)
It's really hard to know a lot from the photos, but I am curious what is so wrong with the 69? It is a convertible. The body lines don't look that bad from the horrible photos. It might just be partially stripped for paint. 8k may be a little steep, but that car will bring in the 20s fixed. Just because the tires are flat doesn't make it junk necessarilly.

Re: Basement bargains ! ! ! (verskel)
that 68 could make a great parts car...if you could get it cheap, you could strip it, and sell off the parts, and make some $$$.
