Thinking about some 245x60 fronts and 255x60 rear tires on my stock 72
with 15x8 rims. Anyone else have this tire set up- if so- any problems with tire
rub or other issues with using this size?
Thanks CDC
I have 245 60 16s all the way around with no rubbing at all. I tried my neighbors 255 60 15s and they rubbed a little in the front. The rears were fine. These were on a set of 81 alloy rims and I don't know if the offset is any different. You should have no problem running what you want.

Sounds  to me.....I went with 255x60's on all 4's on 15x8 rally wheels.
The smaller 245x60's will work better on the fronts than my setup IMO. :chevy
:flag I have a 1972 Convertible. I recently installed P235/60/15 on the front and P255/60/15 on the rear. No problem. I had to turn the parking break clip to one side on the rear but that is not a problem either. I ran 235/60/15 all around previously.
