My nephew has 2 available. He has a 1980 L-82 Automatic. He has the original carb that will need rebuilding and a NOS with only 50 miles on it. If you are interested in either one E-mail me (my E-mail addy is in my profile).

Re: Used Qjet Needed (Dk Met Grn 80 L82)
Any help you guys can give Bernie (Dk Met Grn) in coming up with a good buildable core at a fair price would be great. The original carb on his '80 has an internal passage defect that has been there since the car was new. From the looks of the carb, other people have tried to solve the problem over the years, and I've given it my best shot - I even stopped by his house in Orlando to try to fix it. Unfortunately, his carb casting cannot be made to run right - we need to help him out in getting his car set up.
Right now, Bernie has Paul Latour's (Canada member) loaner carb on his car, and it's running great. I have the defective original carb on my workbench here in Denver. If anyone has a good 1980 (preferable) core (or anything from '77-'80), I'm going to rebuild it at no cost, transfer some of the new parts off the defective '80 carb into the new builder, and get it set up and running right for him - we can't have Bernie driving a nice Vette that's not running right. If you can give Bernie a good deal on a buildable carb, you can send the carb directly to me for the rebuild and setup. Bernie and I will keep you posted on the project...
I have a '77 and '79 (I think I'm keeping this one though), both rebuilt by Lars, and also a core from an '80 that I bought from ebay. Let me know if your interested.
If all these offers fail, I have an Edelbrock 1903 QJet I'll be unloading after Lars rebuilds my original carb. It only has about 5,000 miles on it, but the throttle arm will have to be replaced because it was cut for a TV cable adapter (methinks you already have one of those...)
Thanks guys for all of the great offers! I got an email from a new member who lives in Florida and has a 1980 L82 Qjet that he is willing to give me. It looks like this should be a perfect match. I will let everyone know how it works out.
