"The new GM replacement blower motor will push a lot more air than the old original one due to design. I replaced my 69 with a new delco and it made about 20% improvement. Mine is using R134a and blows nice and cold."
by 'new' GM replacement motor did you mean the one for a C4? or does GM make a replacement for the C3. The reason I ask is I haven't been able to find a Delco or GM replacement motor...I've found other brands...Factory Air, and Simmons, but not Delco or GM.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

I bought mine from a Delco supply house here in Orlando a couple of years ago. It is a 69 replacement until. It came in a Delco box. It was offered with or without the squirrel cage. The new plastic squirrel cage is also more efficient. I took the one without the squirrel cage because they had one in stock and my car was apart. It is a brushless type motor where as the old ones were brush type. Last year a friend of mine at work who owns a 77 bought one there on my recommendation so I guess they still carry them. I would think that any of the new replacemets, aftermarket or whatever would be superior due to design. Who knows what goes on now with the new Dephi group.*&^%$#@
