Default Vette rebuild progress...

Just a few pics of the Vette's progress... Mostly interior stuff.

We're just getting wrapped up with the suspension so hopefully pics of that soon.

Sorry if some are blurry. The interior was originally silver. We're going black all the way. Those are '03 Z06 seats, still not mounted but you get the idea.

Nice seats too. Do they sit much higher than stock?

Well, with the original c3 seat brackets (passenger side only) they sit too high as they are, however the brackets aren't cut for my car obviously.

When the seat sits straight on the floor it's a nice height.

We're pulling the sliders off and are going to make a custom bracket for the drivers side. I'm 6 foot and my wife is 5'3" and so we need to find some sort of compromise on the whole adjustability thing.

The passenger side seat we're just going to bolt to the floor with some sort of custom non-sliding bracket. I figure you don't need to adjust it anyway.

We shall see. I might have to take the t-top interior panels off and upholster over it or something, I dunno.

Well, I ordered mine from Summit Racing. I don't have all the part numbers on hand, but they're all Phantom series guages.

Total was around $550-600 for all of them. They still aren't wired in yet so we'll see how all that goes. :)

Actually, I goofed and I accidentally ordered two sets of the same thing. The black ones are Smart Struts from Van Steel, the shiny ones are the Dragvette strut setup.

The loops are Dragvette 1/2 shaft loops.

I'm going to stick with the Van Steel struts I think. They fit a little nicer and will probably be more streetable than those heim joints on the Dragvette setup.

Forgot to mention, the wiring harnesses are all Lectric Limited pieces. I have a new dash, engine and forward lamp harness. Expensive stuff but my wires were all chewed to hell by rodents.

The lining inside is Thundermat. It's basically the same as Dynamat Xtreme. We're using a couple of layers all over.

The door panels as well as a lot of the other interior pieces are from CorvetteWorks. The interior was silver a couple of weeks ago. The parts we haven't replaced have been dyed black.

I need to get more and better pics of everything once it's all together.
