Engine paint WHAT color????
I'm doing a complete rebuild with fresh block in my 76 and I wanted to do something different but not funny looking. The care will be either black or candy apple red and I didn't want a black or orange engine block.

I struggled with this one. For me, it came down to blue (stock on a '77), orange, or black. In the end, I went with black. Why? Because it looks modern and it goes with everything. If I decide to change the car's color, in the future, I'm not going to worry about how dark green or red goes with a blue block.

Big block orange with all polish alluminum accessory will go with any car color in my opinion. And very easy to detect a leak.

I like the GM blue on my 79 L82. Nice contrast to the black exterior.
