My point is that I can't imagine a reputable company having someone lurking an internet forum looking for someone they insure to make a statement that can be used against them--either to drop their coverage, or to shaft them good when they make a claim.

how did they know who u were? do they really go through all of people's profiles looking for their clients? and plus, your name isnt even in your profile is it? it could possibly be someone else with the same car or something, i mean there are a lot of c3's on here...
