I used to subscribe to a few of them, but let them all lapse recently. Price kept going up and the quality and content either remained unchanged or declined.
None of the above. I prefer "Car Craft" or "Chevy High Performace". Much more useful and relevant to a C3 (that is, a chevy carburated pushrod engine and 70's technology).
I guess if I want to know what kind of wax to use on a C5 corvette I may pick up one of those magazines.
:iagree: Chevy Hi-Performance all the way, all the time......
I think Hot Rod may be realizing the errors in their ways and finding their way back to domestics. I keep threatening to drop them too, but then an issue comes along that's half way interesting. They're only $10/year so I can live with that even if I only use the issues to potty train the puppy.

thats what makes me mad ,you get hot rod 12issues $10.00 vette mags 6 per year $28..00 or more .
I only buy one from newstand when they have something I want to read...infrequently to say the least. I am fortunate and old enough to have a stash of 60-70s vette mags and the like that deal with the cars and topics I want. :D  Can't get excited about getting a new shift **** for a c4/c5 or a cookie cutter exhuast system etc.
I subscribe to CF and Vette but ASC gets my vote because you have to be a member of the Museum to get it.
I was with Aussiejohn for the 50th trip. Bob and Robert are both Corvette people. They looked after us well. Pity Primedia (owner of both CF and Vette)is stuffing around with the distribution of Vette. Didn't recieve the december Vette until February.
Gotta get my fix somehow. I got a jones and I got it bad.......

70L46Conv4Sp, this is kinda freaky.
I subscribe to the first three mags that you do, we drive pretty much the same car, and I'm a long-term owner too - 19 years.
pra4son,
That is freaky. Your car looks great. The saddle interior looks good with Donnybrooke. My interior is green and I don't have a luggage rack. I emailed my vitals to Juliet about a month ago and my car is still not listed on the 70 registry website. I guess she's a busy lady.
I get 3 of them, but am losing interest every month. Like said above, they are geared to C4-5s and the major money crowd. The few how to articles are getting redundent and the feature articles on C3s all seem to have to be about a one of very few that some rich person bought. I would much prefer to see articles about C3s that belong to the average joe. I really don't care for a one of two L-88 car, give me a daily driver 350 modified to preform daily, or a '79 bought for $3500 being restored by the owner as he wants it. Oh wait, that's the corvetteforum.
70l46Conv4Sp, Call me weird, but I've always liked the Donnybrooke Green color. I had mine repainted to the original color from the baby blue (bleech!) it was painted when I got it.
The registry is a great place! Juliet will get you in there soon enough. My info is listed under 12993. I was lucky enough to pull my tank sticker and most of it was intact.
Check the publishers.. most all of the same. Fever and Vette Primidius Publishing I think.. as well as the same on a few others. not much on C3's. Any tech stuff go to Car Craft or Hot Rod.. My .02...
:yesnod:
Pra4sun,
I like the Donnybrooke too. When I was young and stupid (redundant, huh!!) I painted it 73 Corvette Yellow. I put a black top on it and thought it was slick because I had always wanted a yellow Corvette in high school. So at the wise old age of 26 in 1973 I painted it yellow. I went back to the original Donnybrooke in the early 80's. I had it block sanded and basecoat clearcoated. It still looks great.
