Default Power Window Help Needed

I've got my 73 all ready to lift off the chassis but I have a problem, I left the windows up to keep out any critters and now I can't get them to go down :banghead:

I have my battery hooked up to the power window circuit breaker (+'ve) where can I get a ground for the windows? if I use the ground from the altenator or the one at the starter I get some lights but when I press the window switch all I get is a buzzing sound. :banghead:

Need to get the windows down before I start to lift HEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP :cry

I would assume that you have the door panels off. If so, I would send power directly to the motor. One terminal is for down and the other is for up. The ground is completed through the hinges to the birdcage. Good Luck, Craig

:iagree:

If the panels are off you can just hook up the old battery charger to make them move.
