You are probably correct, that for 95% of us, the difference between Brand X performance plug wire and Brand Y is too small to be measured, and certainly doesn't justify paying a premium price.
As an aside, I have always wondered whether advertisers justify claims of "10 RWHP increase!" for various products (and not just wires) as follows: if you have an all-out racing motor (select your favorite), with the crappiest plug wires imaginable, you might very well gain a few horsepower by switching to Brand X.
That page it too long, and the company too arrogant. Turns me off.
I agree - not only that but as a professional marketer the rant is badly written and unprofessional. It's just another case of a manufacturer with a bug up his **** who thinks that everyone thinks the same way he does.
Looks like an opportunity for you. Why don't you re-write one page and sent it to them as an example of quality work that everyone will just marvel at and rush to buy the product inspite of what are obviously bogus claims. I would.
