Default '69 restoration progress

There's a couple new pics on page 3 of the windshield/cowl/ttop areas...slow moving process.

I'd love to see it some time in person. I live about 25mi South in Massillon and the wife and I get up to that area once or twice every two weeks to eat up in Montrose at the various resturants up there, especially Ni's Super Dynasty :yesnod:

Pics look great :yesnod:

My goal is to show it at Stan Hywet on father's day...(fingers crossed)

I will be at most of the local cruise ins so I'm sure we'll hook up.

Nice work! I'm amazed at how much you were able to get cleaned and painted with the body still on. The miracle of before and after pics...I wish I had taken more before pics but that was before I bought my own digital camera.

Looking Great!

I am thinking about pulling my motor and detailing the engine and engine compartment next Winter. I will re-gasket motor since it runs strong with no taps or burning oil.

What should I expect to spend? I have no rust issues to deal with. Most all original parts including carb, alt etc..

We were able to get to quite a bit with the body still on the frame. Basically the tops of the frame rails will be the only metal not touched. I was lucky because the birdcage, frame rails and window frame are virtually rust free. Undercarriage pics to be added soon. The under has been somewhat restored but I want to go over it again to make it better than new.
