Mines paid for if that's what you mean by completed...

I finally bought home yesterday my first Vette - a 72 Silver roadster. Although I bought the car in what I deemed as "pretty darn good shape". In the first two days I've developed a pretty long laundry list of things to do...

That first ride home was quite a thrill!!!!!!

Mines close enough to drive and enjoy but there always something that I want to improve upon. I just completed putting a working original radio back in, fixed the seat belt warning light, got the clock working again, installed another temp guage.... I've got it back together and all systems are go. I'm going to take a break and hopefully just drive it for awhile. :chevy

Most definatly not. I define my incomplete status as having parts of my car in more than one room in my house.

I don't believe you... you can't keep from tinkering with the car... let's see...how long will it take before you add more modifications. It's in your blood, you can't do anything about it :)

Actually, I am getting very close myself. My next project is to change the A6 to a Sanden 508 Compressor.

After that the other stuff is quite minor. I have considered and decided against lower gears. It runs too good on the highway as it is now and don't want the engine acting like it is in 2d gear at speed.

I might consider some after market seats at some point or have the originals done in leather. :steering:

My name says it all. I plan to finish the current "upgrades" as soon as possible. Then it will be completed until I put FI on. Again it will be complated until the Phase III front end can be purchased. This doesn't count the repairs of the finished items in between.

It is like painting the "Golden Gate Bridge" when you get to the end it is time to start over.

I just removed my interior for new rugs, seat covers, A/C faceplate. Then it is on to engine detailing, replacing a bad exhaust manifold, installing Allens dual exhaust, and replacing my A/C compressor, VIR, and A/C hose.

And to think last year I owned a 01 Corvette with 10,000 miles and now a 29 year old one that keeps sucking up cash.

I love it :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss :cuss

I have one!

It requires nothing and everything works.

It sits in a box on the bookshelf! :smash:

My wife asks me that same question often. Maybe it has something to do with telling her this car doesn’t need a thing when I bought it.
If I did not make work for myself, someone else would.
