Need input for upcoming paint color!!!!!!
Car is an 81 Maroon in color with silver interior and 58,000 original kms.

Unless you change the silver interior to something else I would stick with darker exterior colors ... yellow with silver ??? I don't know about that ... also because of the extra flares & spoilers on your model the two-tone colors look great! Maybe a black & grey similar to the 25th anniversary '78 ?? Just my .02 ... you also might want to get a paint chip chart for your year to see what other original color combo's went with your interior

My dad had an 81 maroon (I think it was dark claret) on dark red leather. I loved that car (I have pics on my website).

So I say stay with the burgundy, claret, maroon, whatever... :yesnod:
