I emailed the guy, cuz I'm interested in a C5, and got this reply:

Hello Sir , thanks for your interest in my Corvette . I muste tell you like this car is in a showroom condition, and he can be yours for only 12.000.00 USD He never was involed in any tipe of accidents , no schratches , no dammage.
Right now I'm Czech / Prague with some fammily problems, but this is not a problem , because i will make the shipping via Lufthansa Air Cargo , and in this way , you will recive the car at your home dor in 2 or 3 working days. I will pay the shipping ! When you will recive the car , also , you wiill recive the pink slip , the international warranty , and the clear title.
Also , after you will recive the car , you have 3 days to inspect all details , the car and all the papers. Also , i reccomad you to make a inspection at a good dealer or service. If you like the car , then we can close the deal , if not , send me back the car , and you wil get all money back , without anny questions. I tell you all of this , because i know she is a incredible car ,with this car you can feel the power and the speed, also , you must recognize , he look perfect .

Listen,, this guy is a thief. I regularly recieve very symilar Emails of people in banana republics who need my bank acount numbers to transfer large sums of money. this is just another briliant way to rob somebody who is blinded by an impossible deal. :smash:

I had a couple of similar e-mail in Dec when I was looking to buy a snowmobile on Ebay.

I couldn't believe the great deals on Yamaha RX1's.....until I got these same types of e-mails.

Once you mention Escrow, they disappear forever!!!

I got the same email response from Sindar and his working cell number, so I called him up and after much discussion and bartering I was able to get him to deduct the 12k from my VISA card, so the Vette should be arriving from Prague to Honolulu in about 2 or 3 days via air. Can't wait he even threw in some brand new custom made sheepskin seats covers that retail for over $700.00.
